Customer records and purchase history remain available in BelloPOS Lite. BelloPOS Go adds the part that carries financial risk: a credit limit for each customer and a proper ledger behind their balance. An unpaid sale or issued invoice creates a debit, a payment creates a credit, and a credit note reduces what is owed without anyone editing a total by hand.
At checkout, BelloPOS checks the new debt against the customer limit before the sale is saved. Only a user with the override permission can approve an exception. The customer carnet then shows every movement with a running balance, how old the outstanding debt is, and a printable PDF statement. Everything is calculated from the ledger and kept locally on the shop PC.
What it does
A limit checked at checkout
Set a maximum balance per customer. A sale that would cross it is stopped unless an authorised user deliberately approves the exception.
A ledger, not an editable total
Sales, invoices, payments, credit notes, opening balances and adjustments become dated movements with a running balance.
Debt ageing at a glance
Outstanding amounts are grouped by age, so the shop can distinguish a new balance from debt that has been waiting too long.
Settlements and PDF statements
Record a payment with its method and note, then export the customer statement with debit, credit and balance columns.

How it works, step by step
- 1Create the customer and set a credit limit; zero leaves the account unlimited.
- 2Attach an unpaid sale or invoice to that customer.
- 3BelloPOS checks the resulting balance before checkout and records the debit.
- 4Open the customer carnet to review movements, running balance and ageing.
- 5Record settlements and print a current PDF account statement.
Questions merchants ask
Are customer records still included in Lite?
Yes. Customer details and sales history are part of Lite. Credit limits, the carnet, settlements, ageing and account-statement export start with BelloPOS Go.
Can a cashier exceed a customer limit?
Only when their role has the customer-credit override permission. Otherwise BelloPOS blocks the sale and explains the current balance, the new amount and the configured limit.
What changes the balance?
Unpaid sales and invoices increase it; customer payments and issued credit notes reduce it. The displayed total is recalculated from those ledger entries.
Other BelloPOS features
Every module, one page each.
Touchscreen POS software
The till screen your staff will actually use: one tap per item, one second per payment, and nothing waiting on a connection.
Stock management software
Every sale and every delivery moves the count, so what the screen says is what is actually on the shelf.
Barcode and label software
Any scanner works out of the box, and anything without a barcode gets one you print yourself.
Invoicing and receipt software
A thermal ticket for the queue, a proper PDF invoice for the customer who asks, both out of the same sale.
Electronic invoicing and UBL export
Issue the invoice at the counter, seal the exact UBL 2.1 record locally, and export a traceable filing pack without stopping the sale.
Customer management software
Know who is in front of you, what they bought last time, and the details their next invoice needs.
Purchasing and supplier software
Record what arrived and what you paid, then let stock, cost prices and supplier history update together.
Quotes, orders, delivery notes and invoices
Move from quote to order to delivery to invoice without retyping the customer, the products or the totals.
Sales reporting software
What sold, what earned, who sold it and what to order next, without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.
Accounting bridge and accountant exports
Sales, purchases, VAT and payments become balanced journals while the shop works—not a pile to reconstruct at month-end.
Restaurant POS software
The floor, the pass and the bill on one system, still running when the line goes down mid service.
Offline POS software
Not an offline mode that catches up later: the software simply runs where your shop is.
Multi-till POS software
One PC holds the data, the other terminals talk to it over your own network, and nothing leaves the building.
Staff accounts and permissions
Everyone gets their own login, each role gets exactly the buttons it should have, and the history says who did what.
