Purchases, suppliers and real cost prices

Buying is where a shop's margin is decided, and it is often the least recorded part of the business: a delivery half checked, an amount paid from memory, an invoice in a drawer. BelloPOS gives purchases their own entry screen and history. Pick the supplier, add products like a checkout basket, record status, notes, payment method and the amount handed over, then save the purchase once the delivery is correct.

Saving raises stock by the quantities entered and records the latest buying price on each product, which makes the margin figures elsewhere in the app useful. The history can be searched and filtered by supplier, cashier, product or period; a past purchase can be edited with stock adjusted only by the difference, duplicated into a fresh draft, printed or exported. Purchasing is included from BelloPOS Go.

What it does

Purchase entry built like checkout

Choose the supplier, search or scan products, enter quantities and buying prices, then record status, note, payment method and amount paid in one place.

Deliveries land straight in stock

Receiving raises the count on the spot, so the shelf, the stockroom and the software agree without a second data entry pass.

Cost prices that are true

The price on the delivery becomes the cost price on the product, which is what turns the margin column into something you can act on.

A record per supplier

Contact details, past orders and what you have paid them, so a negotiation starts from evidence instead of a feeling.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1Create the supplier once, with their contact details.
  2. 2Build the purchase from the products and quantities that arrived.
  3. 3Choose its status, payment method and the amount handed to the supplier.
  4. 4Save it: quantities enter stock and buying prices update the product records.
  5. 5Review, filter, duplicate, print or export the purchase from its history.

Questions merchants ask

Which plan includes purchasing?

Purchase entry, history and supplier-linked restocking come with BelloPOS Go, a lifetime licence bought once. Product records and live stock remain in Lite.

Does saving a purchase update my stock?

Yes. Saving adds every entered quantity to stock and records the line price as the latest buying price. Editing later moves stock only by the difference.

Can I see what a supplier has cost me?

Yes. Each supplier keeps their order history, so what you have bought and what it cost is on one screen.

Other BelloPOS features

Every module, one page each.

All features

Touchscreen POS software

The till screen your staff will actually use: one tap per item, one second per payment, and nothing waiting on a connection.

Stock management software

Every sale and every delivery moves the count, so what the screen says is what is actually on the shelf.

Barcode and label software

Any scanner works out of the box, and anything without a barcode gets one you print yourself.

Invoicing and receipt software

A thermal ticket for the queue, a proper PDF invoice for the customer who asks, both out of the same sale.

Electronic invoicing and UBL export

Issue the invoice at the counter, seal the exact UBL 2.1 record locally, and export a traceable filing pack without stopping the sale.

Customer management software

Know who is in front of you, what they bought last time, and the details their next invoice needs.

Customer credit and account statements

Set the limit before the sale, follow every debit and payment, and hand the customer a statement that adds up.

Quotes, orders, delivery notes and invoices

Move from quote to order to delivery to invoice without retyping the customer, the products or the totals.

Sales reporting software

What sold, what earned, who sold it and what to order next, without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.

Accounting bridge and accountant exports

Sales, purchases, VAT and payments become balanced journals while the shop works—not a pile to reconstruct at month-end.

Restaurant POS software

The floor, the pass and the bill on one system, still running when the line goes down mid service.

Offline POS software

Not an offline mode that catches up later: the software simply runs where your shop is.

Multi-till POS software

One PC holds the data, the other terminals talk to it over your own network, and nothing leaves the building.

Staff accounts and permissions

Everyone gets their own login, each role gets exactly the buttons it should have, and the history says who did what.
