In a neighbourhood shop the regulars are the business, and most of what you know about them lives in your head or in a notebook under the counter. BelloPOS gives every customer a record: their details, everything they have bought, and the balance still open on their account, all visible on the till screen while you are serving them.
That turns two habits into data you can act on. Credit stops being a page of scribbles, because a sale attached to a customer shows up on their balance and comes off it when they pay. And advice gets better, because the last five things somebody bought are on the screen instead of half remembered. Customer records are in the free Lite licence, and like everything else in BelloPOS they stay on your own PC.
What it does

Balances instead of a notebook
Attach a sale to a customer and the balance follows it. Payments come off the same balance, and the total owed is a number rather than an estimate.

How it works, step by step

Questions merchants ask
Can I track credit and unpaid balances?
Yes. A sale attached to a customer moves their balance, payments come off it, and the outstanding amount is visible at the till while you serve them.
Is customer management free?
Yes. Customer records, their history and their balances are all in the free Lite lifetime licence.
Is my customer list sent anywhere?
No. BelloPOS runs offline on your PC and has no cloud account behind it, so your customer list stays in the shop unless you export it yourself.
